What makes our violin lessons different?

What if….

What if you saw your child play to a packed audience at a concert? The audience is applauding and your child is just thrilled! What if your child was an introvert and can now command a performance in front of his peers? What if your child told you they’d rather practice their instrument instead of scrolling on their phone? What if your child said “Hi Mom! Listen to this!”

These are all true stories we hear at Classic Studios all the time. We are so proud to be a small part of these great memories families can create.

We make your kids feel like stars. Students walk away their first lesson playing a small part of their favorite tune. Typically after a month students can play 4 short songs and are able to groove in one of their favorite styles and become way more sensitive in playing in tune!

They learn the language of music so they have the ability to play what they want to play. They learn how to just sit down and play.

Students have monthly performance events where they learn to play in a band, work as a team and learn how to take their practice to performing professionally on stage. Students have more performing opportunities than any other school in Sherwood Park.

Our violin teachers can teach a wide variety of genres. The violin is normally associated with classical and folk music, but our violin teachers can teach every genre from pop to jazz and even some Maritime and Canadian Fiddle! Our students spend time each week working on technical skills to improve their sound quality and into- nation, but also have their favorite songs incorporated into the lessons so they finish with their favorite piece. Our violin teachers, through their care and expertise, will certainly nurture any student’s love of the violin.
