About our Giant Steps program

How this program benefits your kids

The purpose of this program is to address the #1 problem that piano students have: The difficulty of home practice.

Many children dread home practice for one reason: It takes too much work. We simply do not have the time to practice with repetition or to drill those tough parts in the lesson. This is true of most piano studios and music schools in Canada. There is just so much to do in 30 minutes.

We are solving this problem once and for all in our music academy.

Will minimize your need to supervise practice at home
Students do not need to practice at home. (Of course, they can if they want!) However, the program is structured so that students get everything done in class
Students get to play in bands. We play songs from Queen and do micro-musicals like Romeo and Juliet
Students get all of the social and emotional benefits of music.
Do you want your kid to have some laughs? We do music comedy. We may have seen “Whose line is it anyway?” too many times.

Days/Times:

Mondays: 4:00 – 5:00 PM (ages 7-12 yrs)

Tuesdays: 4:30 – 5:15 PM (ages 4-6 yrs); 6:30 – 7:30 PM (ages 7-12 yrs)

Wednesdays: 4:30 – 5:30 PM (ages 7-12 yrs)

Saturdays: NEW for 2024: 12:45-1:45 pm; 2:00 – 2:45 PM (ages 4-6 yrs); 3:00 – 4:00 PM (ages 7-12 yrs)

Details:

45 minutes (ages 4-6 yrs), once/week, $93/month.

60 minutes (ages 7-12 yrs), once/week, $125/month.
